We don't publish fixed price menus — every project is different. But we do believe you deserve to understand how we price work, what drives cost, and what to expect before you commit to anything.
Roofing a 1,200 sq ft ranch in Monroe costs a different amount than roofing a 3,500 sq ft two-story colonial three towns over — different pitch, different access, different material volume, different complexity.
Posting a "starting at $X" number would either be so low it misleads you or so high it scares you off a job we could handle for less. Neither helps you make a good decision.
What we do instead: we come to the property, assess the actual scope, and give you a written estimate with a real number. No guesswork. No bait-and-switch.
Here are the factors that most directly affect what a project costs — so you're not walking into an estimate blind.
Every written estimate from WDM includes:
Full scope of work in plain language
Materials specified by brand and type
Labor costs
Permit fees (where applicable — noted clearly)
Site cleanup and debris removal
Timeline and start date
What we don't do: surprise change orders for scope we should have caught at estimate. If we missed something during the assessment, that's on us.
Most contractors will give you a number over the phone. We won't — because a number you can't trust isn't worth getting.
Every WDM estimate starts with an in-person visit. We look at the actual job — the roof, the substrate, the access, the scope — before we put a number in front of you. That's the only way to give you a figure you can actually plan around.
Here's how it works, start to finish:
Call, fill out the form, or email. Tell us what you're dealing with and where the property is. We'll take it from there.
We schedule a site visit at your convenience. We assess the full scope in person — not from a satellite image, not from a description over the phone. We ask questions, look at the details, and take what we need to put together an accurate proposal.
After the visit, we prepare a written proposal with the complete scope of work, materials specified by brand and product, total cost, permit fees where applicable, and a projected start and completion timeline. Every line item is visible. Nothing is buried.
The proposal is yours to review without a clock running. We're available to answer questions or walk through anything that needs clarification. We don't follow up with manufactured urgency or expiring discounts. If the project makes sense for you, it makes sense. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
When you're ready to move forward, you sign the proposal, the deposit is collected, and your start date is locked in. From there, the work begins on the timeline we committed to.
That's it. No bait-and-switch. No scope creep on a signed proposal. No chasing you for payment before the job is finished right.
Tell us what you're working on. We'll give you a straight answer on scope, timeline, and cost — no pressure, no sales pitch.
